Random numbers, exactly your range

Set the smallest and largest value, how many numbers you need, and whether repeats are allowed. Bounds and count are checked before anything is drawn.

Numbers

Numbers will appear here.

How to use it

  1. Set the minimum and maximum — whole numbers from −1,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000.
  2. Choose how many numbers you need (1–10,000) and whether values may repeat.
  3. Press Generate numbers. With No repeats on, asking for more numbers than the range holds is reported as an error.
  4. Copy all values or download them as a .txt file; long lists show the first 200 on screen.

Questions

How random is it?

Each integer comes from crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so there is no modulo bias. When repeats are off, a sparse Fisher-Yates sample guarantees distinct values without building the whole range.

Can I generate negative numbers?

Yes. Use negative values for the minimum and/or the maximum.

What is the largest range?

Bounds are limited to ±1,000,000,000 and the count to 10,000. The page never allocates memory proportional to the range, so a huge range with a small count stays fast.

Why was my count rejected?

If No repeats is on and you ask for more numbers than the range holds, that request is impossible — the form says so instead of silently reducing the count.
